placeholderMalawi  DREAM center in Mtendere, Malawi

The Teresian Nuns in Malawi who were in charge of the Hospital of Mtendere, after having seen the DREAM center in Mtengo wa Ntengha, immediately decided to open a DREAM center in their hospital as well. They too wished to cure those infected with AIDS in the district of Dedza, who otherwise would have had to go to the regional hospital more than 30 km away to receive treatment.

The nuns built a new building, hired the needed personnel with DREAM, and installed the appropriate computer system. The center was inaugurated in the presence of the bishop of Dedza.
